Milan Milanović was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina in a software developer family as a 2nd generation developer. During 1980s and 1990s he start playing with BASIC programming language by using ZX Spectrum and later IBM XT and IRIS PC 16, developing some smaller games and applications, where big interest to programming was born.
As a software architect/developer and a computer scientist by training and skills, Milan primarily focused on Software architecture, Design patterns, Web development, Service-oriented architectures, Agile methodology, Project management and managing software teams to deliver innovative and high-quality software products in many different technologies and enterprise environments in last 15 years.
His area of expertise include delivering and developing complex applications for financial and related industries by using: JavaScript, HTML/CSS, C#/.NET, ASP.NET, Windows Forms, WPF (XAML), Xamarin, LINQ, Entity Framework, ADO.NET, T-SQL, MS SQL Server, Web and Rest Services, TFS, XML, XSLT, etc.
In addition, Milan authored more than 20+ publications at international conferences and journals, and he was a member of a journal editorial board, conference (vice)chair, program committee member as well as reviewer for a dozen of journals and conferences in the area of computer science.
He is an alumni of the GOOD OLD AI Research Network and a passionate photographer.
